A New Nest

Supplies:
Card/Paper: black - grey - red - white - yellow - blue - 2 green - 3 different grey patterned paper for wings, curtains and fence, glue and double-sided adhesive pads.

Fiskars ® Tools:
Paper Trimmer (9893), Everywhere Window Punch™ - Square (5563), Border Punch – Scalloped lace (4075), Lever Punch – Heart (5464) and Daisy (5463), Hand Punch – Small Circle (2350), ShapeCutter™ (4806), ShapeCutter™ Mat (8608), ShapeTemplate™ - Flowers (4867), Fingertip cutter (1352)

Step 1:
With the trimmer, cut a black card 21x30cm, fold on the middle and cut off the corners at the top (5.25x5.25cm).
Cut out a white layer 9.5x28.5cm, cut off the corners at the top (4.75x4.75cm) and glue it to the black card.

Step 2:
Cut out a grey layer 9x27.5cm and cut off the corners at the top (4.5x4.5cm).
In the grey card, punch out 3 square windows with the Everywhere Window Punch™ and cut out one round circle at the top with the ShapeCutter™ and Flowers ShapeTemplate™.

Step 3:
Cut out 2 circles in the patterned paper to make the curtains in the lower window.
Cut out a big and a small petal with the Flowers ShapeTemplate™ to create birds (body and wings) and cut out their beaks in yellow paper with a cutter.
Punch holes with the hand punch to make their eyes.

Step 4 :
Cut out the fence (9x5cm) and make a border at the top with the border punch.
Do the same with a 3x4cm strip to make the curtains.
Stick all the elements in position and decorate with hearts and flowers, created using the Heart and Daisy Lever Punches.
