Instructions
Step 1
Cut a piece of Tan Paper to fit the front of the book. Stamp using the Continuous Stamping Wheel™ and Paisley stamp. Fix to front of book using D/S tape. On the inside of the book, mark where the aperture is and cut from corner to corner diagonally with Art Knife. Bend each triangle back and fix to the inside cover with D/S tape.
Step 2
Cut blue paper to fit inside the aperture. Create an aperture using Everywhere Window Punch™ Frame. Ink the inside edge of the frame with brown ink pad and fix onto Tan Paper with 3D foam pads to create dimension. Fix to the inside cover of the book with D/S tape. Cut another piece of blue paper large enough to fit the inside cover and fix with D/S tape. This will neaten the inside cover of the book.
Step 3
Punch a border on both sides of a piece of white paper. Trim to create sentiment banner for centre of aperture. Fix with 3D foam pads and decorate with black alphabet stickers.
Step 4
Punch XL Scalloped Circle from Blue Paper and L Scalloped Circle from Tan Paper. Ink the edges with brown ink pad and cut into each scallop several times to create a fringed effect. Fix to bottom left hand corner of book using D/S tape. Decorate with button.
Step 5
Fix Chipboard Alphabet Numbers as shown
Wind twine twice around the spine of the book and finish off with a seam binding double bow as shown.
