Deck Chair

Supplies: fine & tight-weave cotton canvas in various colours: shocking pink, red, white, yellow, peppermint green, bright green, fine iron-on fabric, textile adhesive spray

Fiskars® Tools: ShapeCutter™ (4806), Cutting mat (8610), ShapeTemplates™: Flowers (4867), Fun shapes (4886), Super sized Circles (4910), General Purpose 21 cm Classic Scissors (9853).

Step 1:
Iron on the cotton canvas shapes with a very hot iron.

Step 2:
For the flowers, cut out Petal shapes using the ShapeCutter™ and the Flowers ShapeTemplate™ and flower shapes using the Fun Shapes ShapeTemplate™.

Step 3:
For the leaves, cut out leaf shapes using the Flowers ShapeTemplate™.
Cut out larger leaf shapes with the largest circle template: first cut out one side from top to bottom and move the template inwards to cut the other side.
Also cut out slightly curved stems with scissors.

Step 4:
Position the cutouts on the canvas, using the photo as inspiration and pin in place.
Remove the canvas from the deck chair and lay flat. Spray the back of each shape and fix with a hot iron with absorbent paper between for 60 secs.
When properly bonded, put the canvas back in place.
